PLAY AREA
At NEEV students get access to a huge play field which boasts of green grass and a wide play area for various activities. Being indoor the play zone is weather friendly too, so students can have fun without any weather troubles. Play field is equipped with strong, colorful play equipment which include rides & swings. The giant tunnel is the favorite ride of the children. A large play station includes slide, jungle gym, tunnel and many other rides. Children regularly enjoy the big ball pool which is filled with a thousand balls. The school has an outstanding skating rink, ample area for badminton, basketball, yoga, bicycle riding, gymnastics & taekwondo.
ACTIVITY AREA
NEEV boasts of a large activity room which is well stocked with educational toys, blocks, beads and a versatile range of equipment for all classes. This is a place every child would love to be. The doll house, puppet theater, sand pit, mini kitchen and varieties of carpets where students can easily sit and learn different concepts by play way method, play an important role in helping the children learn team spirit.

Hobby activities: Painting, Clay Modelling, Craft & Paper Quilling, Flameless Cooking, Reading, First Aid, Public Speaking.

HAWAN CEREMONY
The Hawan Ceremony was organized in the school to seek grace and blessings of the Almighty to mark the new beginning of the School. School Management believes that “Havan” cleanse the minds of the students and neutralize them in the path of success. Members of Management belief that it would bring health, happiness, luck, and prosperity for all. Chief guest “Anita Tanwar” counselor of Chhattarpur graced the auspicious occasion with her presence. The school presented a memento.
Welcome to Neev
Students were welcomed on their first day of school 🎒 with the decorative headbands. Students were enthusiastic and some were scared. Students were called for an hour so that they can learn to adjust to a new environment and interact with fellow students and teachers. Teachers carried out a set of activities and engaged them in giving self-introduction to the class.

EARTH DAY – April 22, 2020
Earth Day is celebrated annually around the world on April 22 when we refresh our regular duty towards
MOTHER EARTH. Our earth is refurbishing itself gradually. This year even with the limitations enforced by the lockdown we at Neev fulfilled our duties towards mother earth.
On this momentous day i.e. 50th Earth Day, an array of creative activities were organized to sensitize the children about the conservation of natural resources and to motivate them to do their bit towards making their planet even more beautiful. Earth hour was observed from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. during which the lights and fans were switched off, as per the instructions of our honorable principal Dr. Anuradha Mehta in which the staff, as well as the students, participated.
LABOUR DAY – May 1, 2020
To celebrate this painstaking effort of the labour force, that works tirelessly, International Workers Day or Labour Day, was celebrated on May 1, 2020. Day is a reminder for us that these are the real architects of our society, and they deserve their due respect. We have always believed that it is small acts of kindness that count, despite the ongoing lockdown school didn’t fail to express gratitude by motivating students to share food packets with those in need. It was a fruitful day when we together succeed to bring a smile on someone’s face.
MOTHER’S DAY – May 8, 2020
The most exciting celebration of every year is Mother’s Day which celebrates motherhood and the contribution of mothers in one’s life and society. It is celebrated on May 8, 2020. This year also despite social distancing the dance program was organized for mothers and their young ones on the song “ITNI SI HASSI, ITNI SI KHUSHI”. All the mothers participated enthusiastically and sent their videos. School compiled all together and brought out the memorable participation in a combined video. Also to show love and gratitude to moms all students prepared paper jewelry like rings, bracelets, necklaces, crowns, and what not to bestowed their mommies. Indeed an unforgettable celebration.
CLAY MODELLING ACTIVITY
Clay modelling activity was conducted online for the students of pre-primary. Students participated in a lot of gaiety and enthusiasm. Homemade clay was used which was made by their parents following the instructions of the teacher. The tactile hands-on nature of clay made children get engrossed while allowing for a high degree of creativity. Under the guidance and direction of their teacher, the little ones came up with the stunning creation of Lord Ganesh. The purpose of the activity was to strengthen students fine muscles.
RED COLOUR DAY
The shades of red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively, and cheerful. ‘Red’ colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life, and vitality. The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits during their online classes. As most of the students are fascinated by the superheroes, the teacher tried to show the pics of all those heroes who loved to wear red costumes like Wanda, Fusion, Ironman, Spiderman, and many more. Following the directions given by the teacher, they made a beautiful red mask of Spiderman too. The treasure hunt activity was also enjoyed in which students collected all the red colour objects in their house later teacher integrated the activity with the learning of phonetic sound through the objects they collected. It was great fun.
LITTLE SCIENTIST
Students of grade II put on their thinking caps and learned to make rain droplets at home in a glass using hot water, ice, and a plate. They were ecstatic to get clear rain droplets in their glass after a while. It was a very informative activity for them. Through this, they learned the water cycle too.
MASTER CHEFS
It was a day filled with a lot of fun when our students of class II turned into master chefs. These Little ones got the hands-on experience to become chefs and make dishes without fire. Some made sandwiches, sprouts, some made raita to beat the scorching heat of summer, healthy salads using green and leafy vegetables, and whatnot. The purpose of the activity to make them self-reliant to prepare their one-time meal for helping their mothers.
BEAT THE HEAT- LEMONADE MAKING
To beat the heat, first graders were asked to make lemonade for their family members. As per the teacher’s instructions in an online session, the children made the yummy and chilled lemonades for their dear ones. It gave them a delightful hand in the experience. All the family members were feeling so cheerful while having a refreshing drink from the hands of their little children.
FIGHT WITH CORONA AND STAY FIT
Understanding the school’s responsibilities during this tough time and to make our students immune strong the students learned the fitness exercises in their virtual class. They were told about how exercise helps to boost their immunity. The training moments were recorded and students were asked to perform that regularly. It was apparent on their faces how much they are enjoying while doing this task.
LITTLE ARTISTS AND THEIR MASTERPIECES
Young artists have learned various art and craft things and display their learning done in their Saturday online activity classes. Hand and footprinting were fun for class 2 through which they created many figures like animals, birds. Amazing animals with papercraft was also done in all primary classes. Vegetable printing, poster making, paper foldings are some more hand-on work activities that students learned.
Folk and traditional arts are rooted in and reflective of the cultural life of a community. Keeping in mind Warli painting and Madhubani art was taught to the students of classes 1 & 5. Students enthusiastically learned to create warli paintings with a basic set of geometric shapes while the basic figures of “Madhubani” famous art of Bihar taught in classes III to V.
STEM –ACTIVITY
The school is taking all the initiative and not leaving any stone unturned for the holistic development of our students during this lockdown period. Therefore, STEM classes and abacus classes were organized for the students from grade third to fifth to learn new concepts of science and improve their mental math skills in which students learned to create and use simple machines in a play-way method and learned the faster calculations through abacus.
Yoga a foundation of life and Father’s Day (June 2020)
This International Yoga Day, our students joined their fathers to perform therapeutic Yoga asanas and celebrate Father’s Day with great fervour. Students demonstrated various asanas along with their fathers. They even clicked pictures of the beautiful bonds that they share with their fathers. They showed their regard, love, and admiration for their fathers by making cards for them. The celebration was concluded with a poem penned down by our Incharge ma’am Mrs. Deepika Sharma. She encouraged students to practice yoga regularly to remain fit and improve their concentration.
Vanmahostav (July 5,2020)
He who plants a tree, plants a hope.” ― Lucy Larcom
During this festival, thousands of trees are planted all over the world.
It is an ideal opportunity to instill the value of social responsibility in our students towards safeguarding trees and forests. To commemorate the occasion, students planted a sapling and created a caterpillar/green crown/tree with paper collage etc. With craft. Students were guided in taking proactive steps in protecting and ensuring the growth of trees for a greener and healthier earth.
English Recitation Competition (July 28,2020)
Poetry comes alive through Recitation. The students from Pre-Primary to grade V showcased their talent in English Recitation Competition held virtually to hone their oratory skills. Adorned with colourful attires and innovative props, the children enthralled everyone with their facial expressions, gestures and ambience, while reciting rhymes with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Raksha Bandhan and Friendship Day (August 3,2020)
‘Raksha Bandhan’ is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister, which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. On the other hand, “Friendship is the only cure for the hatred, the only guarantee of peace.” Celebrating both these occasions, teachers encouraged students to put on their thinking caps and create something beautiful with the material available at home.
Janmashtami (August 10,2020)
Janmashtami is a festival that reiterates the fact that God always comes on earth to discipline and rectify evil deeds. Neev celebrated this blissful day virtually wherein students enthralled with zealous participation. They dressed up as Krishna and Radha and performed dances on various Krishna’s bhajans. Different craft activities were done by students like:- making of lord Krishna’s Jhula, mukuts with peacock feathers and mutki with maakhan. Students were told the significance of the day by in-charge ma’am and taught to spread love and peace everywhere.
Independence Day (August 15,2020)
Like all years, this year also,we have ensured that the spirit of patriotism lives on, and thus shifted our celebrations online. The flag hoisting ceremony and students’ performances were all recorded beforehand. Students were given the songs which they sang/performed and sent back, which were then compiled by teachers and presented in the virtual assembly hosted by Miss.Akshita Sinha in the presence of staff,students and parents. A beautiful patriotic song was sung live by Mrs. Sulekha Singh. In charge Mrs. Deepika Sharma recited a beautiful poem highlighting the importance of independence and the sacrifices of our soldiers for the nation. A wonderful Shiv Sutra chanted by a student of class II Mohd. Amaan, consolidated the feeling of secularism and showed that religion and caste doesn’t matters. In our hearts we all are proud to be Indian.
Ganesh Chaturthi (August 26,2020)
This year, Ganesh Chaturthi was observed in a little different way owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Children showcased dances and Ganesh aarti on a virtual platform. A nice story of Lord Ganesha with moral ‘Never be greedy’ was told by In-charge Mrs. Deepika Sharma through a PPT followed by making of the idol of Ganesha on MS paint using different shapes and colours which students thoroughly enjoyed. Students also created Lord Ganesha’s idol using different materials available at home like- homemade clay/dough/leaves/dry fruits/ pulses/vegetables etc.
